On the 4th of October to the 7th we stayed in 202 Ben Siesta in Umhlanga, I don't even know where to start the place was peaceful, clean 5 star environment and wouldn't mind coming back again for longer stay, the beaches are clean and not over populated, the pool crystal clean every thing in that place is beautifully placed... There is a cleaning service every day except for Sundays and public holidays. The host responded quickly to my queries, but was unobtrusive. We had a great time!

Firstly, our host was so friendly and so helpful. He responded fast to any queries and he was just so pleasant. The unit is stunning, very modern and has everything you would need in a holiday unit. The lift entrance into the unit was a major plus. The host is doing an excellent job of keeping this unit in fantastic condition. The position was amazing, so relaxing. The unit is right on the beach, you have breaker and ocean views. We saw dolphins and whales from the verandah. Will definitely be booking only this unit when I come to Umhlanga again.

We had a fantastic stay here, it was spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean, we even saw whales - and lots of them! It’s a great distance from the village, not too close so it was still quiet, but close enough that it was a quick car ride/Uber to get in. The property is truly gorgeous, better than what the pictures depict. The view of the beach as you walk out of the elevator and into the apartment will stay with us for a long time to come. Gugu, the lady who freshened up the property daily was very friendly. The area was affected by a water outage during our stay and the housekeeper was efficient in keeping us in the loop with municipal communication once he was alerted of the outage. Great communication overall.

What a great location this is. The apartment is spacious and neatly furnished. The elevator stops in the apartment which gives a real wow factor. The view from the balcony is so beautiful, you can see Durban city and on the left you see the lighthouse and of course the sea. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We only stayed 2 days, but certainly could have stayed longer. Had a really great stay!

The place was comfortable, secure, neat and clean. They really thought of everything, dishwasher, washing machine, curling iron and even the Nespresso, so I didn't have to bring my own! The views were spectacular and direct access to the beach was convenient. The location is great with Oceans mall and Superspar nearby. Basically everything you need! I would highly recommend and would definitely be returning! We are planning our next trip!

Jack's place is nicely situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with quick access to the beach and a short drive or walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The apartment is neat and tidy and the large opening doors are great. Parking right outside the kitchen door is a bonus - no lugging of luggage up and down staircases. Will definitely consider for future visits.

The place was beautiful. Very clean, as a cleaner does come on an everyday basis except for Sunday which is completely okay. There was never any room for the apartment to be dirty and the cleaner was quite nice. Jack was extremely helpful anytime I had a question. The view is absolutely amazing. The place was amazing, the accommodation is literally a few steps from the beach and you have direct access to the beach and promenade. The accommodation was as in the pictures, it was clean, neat and modern. The cleaning service we had everyday was amazing and really helpful especially with kids around. Jack was a great host with good communication, he also accommodated us with a bit of an early check in as well which really helped. Even with load shedding we still had Wi-Fi, which was especially nice, when working remotely. All in all would definitely stay there again.

We are a family of 6 and had a wonderful stay at Jacks beautiful home. We were so sad to leave! The house is modern, well equipped and very comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful yet also a short walk to the shops and restaurants, with a private path down to the main beach and long boardwalk. The house is equipped with a powerful inverter, so we didn't even notice when power went out for load shedding. There is a daily maid service which was a bonus too! Jack was an excellent host and very quick to respond to all our queries. We would love to come back to Umhlanga, just so we can stay at this house 😊

The photos don't do this place justice. You need to stay here to fully experience how great it is. The place is perfect. The long balcony gives you a beautiful view of the ocean, Umhlanga and Durban in the distance. The apartment was spotless and there isn't a lack of shops within walking distance. Being only 3 mins from the beach is an advantage. I'd recommend this to everyone.

I had the pleasure of saying at this apartment during a weekend getaway in Umhlanga. Jack was extremely communicative and ensured that the check in process went smoothly. The place was squeaky clean and gets cleaned daily around 10am. The views are breathtaking and the unit is centrally located in the same building as the Radisson Blu Hotel in the heart of Umhlanga. There are a number of restaurants, malls and sights within walking distance, offering a wide variety of options. (Jack if you're reading this, I'd like to put in an offer to purchase the unit 😉). Overall, this was one of my favourite AirBnBs so far and I will certainly be staying here again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious apartment with everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The sea and Durban views were a high point. Undercover secure parking was provided, but there was little need to use a car due to restaurants, cafes, shops, and the beach being very nearby. The apartment is in a beautiful and well-maintained secure complex too. We will no doubt return when next we travel to Umhlanga, especially since our host was a pleasure to deal with and he made us feel right at home.
